
Pupil Premium



The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. It is allocated according to the numbers in specific groups.
Schools receive Pupil Premium funding for:
• all children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM)
• all children who have been eligible for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years
• all children who, at any time have been looked after continuously for more than six months by someone other than their immediate family
• children of service personnel
