Attendance

It is important for children to be at school on time and every day unless they are unwell.

If your child is unwell please let the school know on the first and subsequent days of absence, by telephone 020 8874 1301 ext 2 or email info@allfarthing.wandsworth.sch.uk

If your child has a medical or other unavoidable appointment, please let us know in advance.

Request for Pupil Absence During Term Time

The Department for Education (DfE) permits the Headteacher to authorise planned absence only in exceptional circumstances. However, this is at the discretion of the Headteacher and is not an automatic right.

Please complete the online google form (link below) if you wish to take your child out of school during term time.

The school attendance registers are monitored by Wandsworth Education Welfare Service, who follow up persistent lateness and unauthorised absence.

Nursery

Morning session 8.45am – 11.45am
Afternoon session 12:30pm – 3:30pm
All day session 8.45am – 3:30pm

TOTAL HOURS: 15 for part time children and 30 hours for full time children

Reception, Years 1 & 2

School starts 9:00am with registration
Morning playtime 10:15am – 10:30am
Lunchtime 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Afternoon playtime 2:00pm – 2:15pm
School ends 3:25pm

TOTAL HOURS: 25 hours a week

Years 3 – 6

School starts 8:55am with registration
Morning playtime 10:55am – 11:10am
Lunchtime 12:30pm – 1:30pm
School ends 3:30pm

TOTAL HOURS:  26.25 hours a week
