Allfarthing School

Communication Strategy

Rationale

Our vision for Allfarthing Primary School is to ensure that we provide ‘Excellence for All’. We want all of our pupils to develop a strong love of learning, both in school and across the community. We aspire for all children to be the best local and global citizens they can be, demonstrating our three core values at all times: be kind; be safe; go above and beyond.

As part of this, we need to ensure that communication is central to school life and school learning. Through good communication, we build relationships that uphold and support the values of our school community. We endeavour to act in partnership with the parent community - we will succeed by working closely together.

Our aims

Our aim at Allfarthing is that our communication is effective, supportive and informative. A strong communication strategy ensures that every member of our community feels valued. In turn, they value the aims and vision of the school. Therefore, our guiding principles must be that all communication is:

  • Clear, accurate and precise;
  • Inclusive of the whole school community;
  • Respectful to all parties involved.

Below is the outline of the four key channels that are used for the school to communicate to all stakeholders and the methods for communication open to parents.
